I find in my surroundings the items I need to inspire me.
I do not need sophistication.

Simple and everyday items are rich in essential elements for art.
Nature is an inexhaustible source of resources and I like investigating them.

I like getting lost on forest tracks to discover moments of beauty.

I hope to immortalise those instants on the canvas to share them with others.

I find pleasure in calm rivers with their back lights, autumn landscapes with their placid waters where peace reigns eternally.

I head for the sea,
the supreme source of life, to live it and imbibe its intense, bright and immense colours.

I seek its mystery,
I explore it to the horizon, and lose myself on any tiny beach.
The sea rejuvenates me and gives me the chance to gain vitality and dynamism.
I am surprised by its magical effects.

I like lonely beaches,
their abandoned, lazy boats and their warm colours against blue skies, the peaceful cliffs and the fisherman working with their nets.

I need the silence of the studio
to compose select pictures with the fruits of nature,
pervaded with unfathomable loneliness and beauty.

I play with these fruits,
their colours are varied and their shapes different,
I accompany them with flowers, vases, books or any object to bring out their aesthetic value and to assert that simplicity for simplicity's sake can be the greatest beauty.

I breathe in the peace of the compositions,
without daring to break the composed balances, I shade the colours,
I seek shadows and paint with stealth.

I am captivated by the human body,
strength in men and gentleness in women,
I divide it up, seek intimacies, hands, feet, outlines, breasts
I feel the model's frivolity.

I examine my work,
I observe it, I mould it in my mind
I aspire to improve myself and make the changes required.
I continue to immortalise beautiful moments on the canvas.
